Secondly, for people who are confused, you can hear the poem from the official TNBC album that mentions Jack and his kids here: [link]
Santa returns to Halloween Town to visit Jack and notices that he has kids. I'm thinking if it was with anyone -but- Sally, he'd have mentioned that. Not to mention their lyrics at the end of the original film pretty much denotes the typical fairy-tail finish "We're simply meant to be."
I'm thinking if Tim anticipated these characters to wind up with anyone but each other, we'd have heard about it in the epilogue.
Sorry, I'm not one to usually go all nerd-rage about an OCxCanon pairing (I actually have a few created by friends I love!), but when the creator of said OC starts going on about how the OC IS HER and starts denying the obvious canon storyline (that Jack and Sally were 'meant to be' per the film and had children per the epilogue), then I start to get annoyed.
Either way though: Great job on this piece Bleedman!
By all means, have the pairing and enjoy it all you want! I don't got no issue with that - but canonically, per Tim's story, Jack is with Sally. Cope with it.
The only problem I have an issue with is you telling people that Jack and Sally broke up canonically/etc. It's cool if you want to say "In my story, Jack and Sally break up and Jack falls in love with this character, Rachel." But that's not canon. This is all I'm saying. ^^
