Yep, unfortunately, there's not many people who know about Chrono Trigger. It's a very old game for Nintendo NES, but it's very good! It's Final Fantasy style, and has one of the better histories I've ever seen in a game. Chrono is the main character, the one who never speaks...
Positives: It's obvious, you do stay consistent, so it always has that... sleek look.
Negatives: No background. This feels so empty, I feel like I'm getting sucked into a void of mediocridy. However, to speak of the somewhat bland design is to critique the original artist, and not you... so it's hard. Weird. This is like... fanart art fanart... commission. Another note, it's VERY basic. Simple, hardly even kept my attention, in terms of being a mind blower, or perhaps an effort piece. How long did you spend on this? An hour?
Overall: 4 of 10. Hard to say, when this is a commission. Really, I'm surprised the commissioner didn't get bang for their buck, when they could have told you to "blow this out of the water". It's presentable, but nothing more. I'd keep this as a funny little scrapbook thing, not frame it. You have a feel of good work, but it always stays the same. Oh dear, dear, dear.
Well, I think critiquing a commissioned work with set guidlines made through amount spent is a little brash. I was fully away it was simply going to be a character, and bleedman wasnt expected to do anymore then that.
Why would I spend $50 on that?
1. Bleedman is my idol (like he is to oh so many others)
2. I support any artist on snafu's roster any way I can
3. umm..I have bad concept of spending
