From where I live Voltes 5 is the most popular robot of all time compared to Combattler V, this was made with the 3D max studio software. Many commented that they look like toys, how I wish they were so I could get my hands on them.
I'm not really fond of 3ds but when I realize that 3d max can create 2d cell shading effects I just had to give a shot. Also ,it can import vector line arts directly into flash.

ALso, you have some decent Modeling skillz man. Im attending DigiPen in Seattle Washington... that's the kind of stuff we learn to do on a daily bases. ^ ^ And with your kicking wicked skillz in the 2D realm, you'd fit in nicely over here.
