Although I'm awfully busy and the new pages might be delayed , i'll still update some stuff to liven things up.
it's not exactly a tutorial but it will give you an idea of how i do my work.
Step:
1. I don't ink, a lot of people ask me that. Just try to achieve a nice clean pencil stroke and clean any sketchy lines using photoshop.
2. Adding flat colors, if you know the basics of photoshop like layers and stuff then you're off to a good start. It's a matter of experimenting your own rendering style with or without a tablet. For me I don't use a tablet, I guess I've gotten used to an optical mouse for quite some time.
3. Final touch using photoshop, adding the shadows and highlights. I guess it's what they call cel-shading.
4. A new software I got, it's called Corel Painter 9. I've been experimenting on it lately, what's great about this is that it's system and interface is becoming more like that of photoshop, the looks, the keys and other similar feature. Best of all it's compatible with Adobe photoshop, painter can open psd files and photoshop can open painter files vice versa.
wait, you don't use tablet and just your mouse?....holy shit thats some good hand control right there, i can't even draw a good stick figure with just m mouse....
MANDY IS EVIL!!! of course...that's why she's my fave! she shows the dark side of all of us, hiding behind our light colors and seemingly comfortable lives there is a side that lives with it
